Farmer's Wife - Week 17

This week we will be making a lot of Half-Square Triangle (HST) blocks for our three Farmer's Wife blocks.  We are making:

• Block 11 - Broken Dishes
• Block 16 - Calico Puzzle
• Block 21 - Contrary Wife

Block 11 - Broken Dishes

This block is made up of 16 HST's, so you'll be using the HST tutorial quite a bit, if you haven't already memorized it!  These finished HST's will be 1 1/2 inches, so trim them to 2 inches before assembly.

Block 16 - Calico Puzzle

You will need five blocks cut 2 1/2 inches square, plus four HST's trimmed to 2 1/2 inches square.

Block 21 - Contrary Wife

Just like Calico Puzzle, you'll need five 2 1/2 inches square blocks and four HST's trimmed to 2 1/2 inches square.
