We are moving along with our Farmer's Wife Quilt-along, having now finished 67 blocks! We are well past the half-way mark. Here are the blocks we finished in week 24.
While pondering fabric choices, Beth took stock of her decisions across all completed blocks and discovered that she wants to introduce more of a specific hue of blues into her blocks. Read about it on
her blog (which is primarily about calligraphy and has some amazing eye candy there!). This is a great exercise and I'm going to do the same.
I have also run out of my red fabric I've been using and will be deciding whether to introduce another red or leave red out for the remaining blocks. Going through this process will help me make that decision; we all know that a little red goes a long way and I may have all I want at this point.
